Five kids from Fernandina Beach, Florida making indie rock that sounds like a sunburn, a long drive, and the back half of an August night all at once. This is a love letter — and a wall to pin fan art to.
Flipturn formed in high school in northeast Florida around 2015 and have spent the decade since growing from sweaty house shows into one of the most beloved acts in the indie circuit — a band built on jangly guitar lines, anxious-but-hopeful lyrics, and a live show that sells itself.
Their debut LP Shadowglow (2022) cracked the scene wide open, and the follow-up Burnout Days (2024) leaned harder into the synths and the choruses. Whatever they're doing next will probably make you cry in a good way.
Drop your art into these tiles — paintings, gig posters, photos from the pit, collages, the lyric that's been tattooed in your notes app for two years. Anything goes.
